(i) that he is aware businessmen do not construct buildings in their business premises since a Buddhist temple claims right for the lands of this city;
(ii) the actual right pertaining to these lands by the temple; and
(iii) whether measures will be taken to grant the ownership of the relevant business premises in this city to the businessmen who had possessed them for many years and facilities will be provided to the business community to engage in their business activities?

(i) he is aware that businessmen who own business premises in the Embilipitiya town have to pay taxes to the Department of Buddhist Affairs for their business premises;
(ii) such taxes are levied for the relevant plot of land or for the buildings constructed by businessmen with their own money;
(iii) he will submit the documents recommended by the Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs as to the levying of these taxes;
(iv) there is an order by the Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs that 25% of the proceedings from the sale of a business premises to another person shall be paid to the relevant temple; and
(v) if so, he will admit that a grave injustice is caused to them in selling their business premises together with large buildings constructed thereon with their own funds?

(iv) whether steps will be taken to provide electricity to the Western Province including the city of Colombo using environment friendly methodologies?
(i) whether there was an agreement to operate using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for a period of one year the power plant built in Kerawalapitiya which is currently operated with Heavy Fuel Oil(HFO);
(ii) whether that agreement has been breached;
(iii) of the loss incurred to the Ceylon Electricity Board as a result of breaching that agreement;
(iv) whether he is aware that action is being taken in contravention to the agreement entered into with respect to the pricing of a unit of electricity supplied to the Ceylon Electricity Board through that power plant;
(v) of the measures taken to ensure that the company supplying electricity would act in compliance with the agreement; and
(vi) of the loss incurred to the Ceylon Electricity Board as a result of not acting in compliance with that agreement?
